Cape Meares Art GroupBarbara Bennett Community Center
The Cape Meares Art Group is getting together at the Community Center the afternoon of **Friday, November 7th from 2-4** just to talk about our art. We’ll have some minor updates on feedback from the Labor Day Art Show and where we might be headed, but mostly offer a few questions to frame our conversation: as an artist, what are you currently working on, what are you hung up on or struggling with, and how do you maintain your motivation? Participation in the show is what brought us together, but anyone who makes art in Cape Meares is welcome. If you have something to show off, share, or ask about, feel free to bring it.
Hope to see you there.

Fun, Art, PoetryBarbara Bennett Community Center
Join Us for a morning of FUN, ART, POETRY, and COMMUNITY at the Community Center on Saturday, November 8, 10 am -12pm. See the attached flyer for more information.
Bring a polaroid camera/film or a similar device if you have one. We will furnish supplies but feel free to bring your own.
Our inspiration comes from an event we attended at the Nestucca K-8 school with other community members on May 20, 2025 featuring Ms. Ada Limon, the 24th Poet Laureate of the United States (https://www.tillamookcountypioneer.net/ada-limon-poet-laureate-to-deliver-sitka-center-keynote/). This was the last official event of her three-year tenure. At least seven community members attended this once -in-a-lifetime event.
If possible, please RSVP by November 1 (call or send a text to Miriam @ 503.812.9475).
