Recent research regarding security considerations for a community after a disaster look at two areas of focus:
1. Security of supplies
2. Security of the family unit
After a major event, our community will most likely be isolated with roads and possibly trails blocked by landslides or water. The bad news is that there will be no way out. The good news is that it will be challenging to get in. Therefore, community security will hopefully be last on our list of post disaster considerations. Says Pollyanna.

Our community and emergency preparedness group will not define what level of security each individual might embrace. Let us assist anyone who needs assistance.
