Loop Road Survey Results

a1
Earlier this summer Cape Meares residents were offered the opportunity of responding to a survey that contained information regarding possible solutions to the closed Loop Road between our community and Oceanside.

There were 28 residents who responded to the survey with 68% of them choosing as the best solution the one that was recommended by Liane Welch, the Tillamook County Public Works Director.

The second choice for those who responded was to not re-open the Loop Road with 25% choosing this alternative.

The CMCA Board discussed the results of this survey at their recent meeting and decided to send the results of the survey to Ms. Welch and each of the three Tillamook County Commissioners.  The Board did not offer a preference regarding the Loop Road closing.

The survey was sent to the 152 e-mail addresses that are ordinarily used for all MailChimp messages.

In addition to responding to several questions on the survey, respondents were also offered the opportunity of commenting regarding the closing.  Click on the link below to access an online version of the results of the survey including all comments.
